CEA-Esperanza Honduras

The ultimate goal of CEA-Esperanza is to impact the results of the education systems, increasing quality and equity of learning in the Americas and the world. This goal is to be achieved by strengthening engaged citizens that join forces to impact quality focused policies at national and regional levels. We believe that quality is creating the conditions that assure effective and relevant learning to occur in the classroom. Quality education also provides a quality of life to citizens and helps them to be productive and empowered.

CEA Esperanza in Honduras has started actions to strengthen the sustainability of the forefront group of committed citizens of Honduras. The bottom-up approach used in the CEA-Esperanza project was very well received by the group in Honduras. They have developed and put into practice their annual work plan, and held group meetings on a monthly basis since November 2018. They have taken actions such as visiting and documenting quality in honduran schools, making public interventions recorded on media, communicating with opinion leaders, and studying options for action as change actors. The group is working to make this topic the spearhead of educational development in Honduras and other countries of the Americas.
